Munnar - Southern Kashmir of India
Munnar - One of the best hill station present in western ghats of Indian sub continent. Lying at 1600 m above sea - level, It is amongst the most sought out travel destinations in the worlds. Surrounded with the beautiful hills and the town situated at the foot of the Anaimudi - the tallest peak of south india, It is one of the most beautiful tourist spot. It is home to nearly 500 tea estates and become the tea bowl of south india. The most precious flower neela kurinji which bloom once in 12 years also present here. The town also the home to the eravikulam national park which contains 1000s of nilgiri tahr. It is also surrounded by 7 wild life sancturary and has two dams namely kundala and mattupetty present here too.
